I'm currently looking into purchasing a 15inch powerbook via the Student Developer Program.
I was wondering though if i could use my one off hardware discount and purchase from the US Hardware Store (as oppose to Europe) thus saving myself a few hundred pounds more. I'd just have it shipped to an American friends address and ask them to bring it over for the start of next term.
Has anyone ever done this? I've examined all of the terms and conditions for the program and there doesn't seem to be anything to stop you from doing this, but whether the order would be processed....
