What is the college student discount on a 32GB 2nd Gen iPod Touch?

There is no discount. I just tried yesterday.

You can always see what the discount is by going to apple.com, search for "education" then entering your school's information. Then the prices as listed will be discounted (if appropriate). For example, Macbooks are $999 instead of $1099, etc.

But no ipod discounts right now.

Apple did away with education discounts on iPods (aside from the back-to-school promos, which aren't good on the new iPods in the US) in September 2006.

I get a work discount but it's only $25 off the 32gb Touch. You could wait til Amazon sells it, usually they price it a bit lower than retail.

amazon is selling it now and it is the same price as apple.com. at some point they usually drop the price a bit (~$20) but i'm not sure when that will happen. i'd guess it is months off if at all...

I don't know which places sell the touch and which don't, but back when the 1rst gen came out...target had them.

Now, most places make it so coupon codes don't work with hardware and such but it worked at target.

10% off and it was great.

so there is no difference if I buy one from the regular apple online store and the education store?

Are there any other discounts that I could get, like turning in an old ipod for 10% off. Can I use 2 different discounts, or is it one discount per purchase?
