Well guys,

I did a search but I did not find any recent result... so I decided to ask it here.

I am planing to get a new MacBook Pro and use the student discount. I want to buy it directly from a Retail store (physical store). What do I need to bring with me to get the student discount?

Just bring your student ID. If you don't have it, i'm pretty sure they will let you log into your university and show your enrollment/class registration and stuff. I think they also accept a college acceptance letter.

Many places will also take your acceptance letter and/or any papers you have congratulating you for choosing them (after you have committed).

Yeah...like others have said they're not very strict. When I bought my air a while ago I just flashed my id, and you don't need to show anything at all if you buy online. They do run random audits every once in a while, however.
