Student iPod Rebate with Student Developer Price?

Hello,

If I were to buy a MBP as a student developer, would I be eligible for the Student iPod Rebate?

So after saving hundreds of dollers on a brand new MacBook Pro, would I still get the added benefit of a free iPod touch?

Because that would be sweet.

A developer discount is different than the regular student discount.

As I understand it so far, As a student, I'd pay approx $100 for the student developer kit, which includes a one time access to the apple online developer store.

I think I can get upwards of $500 off a new base model MBP.

Please correct me if I'm wrong!
