Hi all,

I understand some of you have received the new Studio Display. Can you let me know what are you seeing and experiencing when connecting the iPad Pro 12.9 or 11 inch?

I‘m searching for a good reason to buy this monitor, but based on initial reviews, there’s really nothing compelling to justify the minimum $1,599

It's an excellent, well-made monitor with a ton of niceties.

We are spoiled by mini-LED and ProMotion, and I do wish it had those features, but it is an otherwise fantastic monitor.

Webcam doesn’t work, speakers I’ve heard are great but not excellent. What are other features does this monitor have?

@flapflapflap I don't think Studio Display is overpriced. It is just another Apple Display. As one, it cost a lot of money for what it can do. Apple is well known to charge high price tags for her monitors, as I can recall Apple never sold a monitor with a competitive price. All of Apple's offerings have been sold by a high price. Even in PowerMac era, or even worst, during clone's era, Apple sold her displays pricy.
