About 4 days ago display started to behave weird: speakers, camera and mic are no more recognized, and brightness is stuck at mid level and cannot be adjusted (only reduced with software apps like Lunar or Brightness Slider).

There is NO firmware version in Graphics info.

I restarted the display by unplugging for 5 minutes-1 hr already like 30 times - and there is nothing else I can do!

Apple Configurator does not recognize it.

There is no Apple Store or official support in my country as well! Company who sold it says we will send it far away for looong time so it's not an option.

It started when i used Sonoma, now updated to Sequia - didn't help.

What are my options? It worked perfectly for first 2 months, and ofc I use original thunderbolt cable from correct socket with no other USB-C devices and m3 macbook air.

Already did Safe boot several times and NVRAM reset. Tried with friend's mac - same issue, it is display's firmware that got corrupted.

Now it works ONLY as a display with constant mid-brightness (my macbook next to it is like 3 times brighter on max level), no speakers and other things. I can live without speakers but I need my brightness back...

Any ideas how to install original firmware?

Have you followed any of the recovery steps in Apple’s Service Manual for the display?
thanks, i never saw those support pages.
I installed ASU, i keep getting this error even with different VPNs installed. maybe the server is down?

a friend of mine says it works on their 14.5 sonoma (I run 15.0 Sequia now). Maybe it's not supported yet on 15.0?
I will try with friend's mac and post back how it works out!
Thanks again!

Ok we tried and no luck - display is not recognized by Service Utility at all on macbook m1 pro, not after multiple restarts, Safe mode, using thunderbolt and USB-C ports...

Also serial number is giving me error https://getsupport.apple.com/self-service-diagnostics/product:
This serial number is either invalid or ineligible for Apple Diagnostics for Self Service Repair.

Any other ideas? I feel like some display hardware is dead and cannot be recovered by software
