Studio display online availability

I’m trying to track down a 2nd studio display with height/tilt stand (love my first one!). I put in an order with apple last week, but shipping time is showing June 2-12 ? question #1 - has anyone seen their shipping times improve when ordering a display? Or am I most likely looking at June?

Alternatively- has anyone had luck with 3rd party sites getting them sooner? If I buy from something like Best Buy or B&H, can I add apple care on afterwards without a problem? I normally only order from apple, so haven’t had to do this in the past. Thanks!

To your second question, absolutely you should keep an eye on other sellers, and yes you can add apple care + if you buy from someone else. It's not necessary to purchase from Apple in order to get the additional coverage.

I ordered a nano display with VESA mount on March 8 and was quoted a 4/7-4/15 window. It just updated to “preparing to ship” today, so it looks like it will arrive in the latter part of the window.
