Hi, there!
I am about to order a new Studio Display.
I decided to order the normal glass one, and now I am deciding on the stand option.
Is the height of the base stand enough to get it at eye level, or does it sit justo on the low side?
I know having the height adjustment is a plus, but the price difference is too steep just to gain the height adjustment option.

One other question. I read some users found their Studio Displays crooked, not perfectly leveled.
So I ask you guys that already have a Studio Display: do you noticed something like this on yours?
Should it affect mostly the models with height adjustment, or may it affect this with simply the inclination adjustment?

Thanks in advance for all your input.

It depends on how tall you are sitting down and how tall your desk surface is as well as what height your seat cushion is at. That's going to vary for people. It might be good for you or it might too tall or too short. Either do the math where it will end up and see if that's good for you or get something to adjust the height.

Hard question to answer since it depends on your setup. Two things you may wish to keep in mind: (1) Most people position their displays higher than is considered ergonomically optimal. (2) I've heard it said that at least one part of your setup must be height-adjustable. If you can freely adjust your chair height (while maintaining comfort relative to your desk), then you'll be fine. If you can't, then look for a display that is adjustable.

If you decide you don't like the height of the tilt-adjustable model but don't plan to adjust the height regularly, you also could purchase a display stand. They come in various heights, so you almost certainly could find one that gets you the height you need.

I ultimately sprung for the height-adjustable model. I hated letting Apple gouge me like that, but I've gotta say -- I really like it.
