Received my studio display today that I bought way back in June. Before this I was using a 4k LG monitor. I have two macbooks, personal and work, and I plug everything into the monitor (keyboard cable, dongle for mx master 3s). Then I just plug the usb-c cable into a different machine and I essentially have a poor man’s KVM switch.

LG was working perfectly with this, but Studio Display causes such a painful mouse jitter that I cannot even use it at all. It’s as if mouse looses connection for milliseconds at a time and then my hand movement does not match cursor movement at all.

I was presenting today with screen share and people thought I’m weird because I would constantly click wrong buttons.

It feels as if there is some ‘load’ and the machine or display cannot handle it and throttles. I have no idea how to fix this. Both keyboard and mouse have older usb, and I used three different dongles (one native apple) and it did not help.
