Studio lightning cable to USB-C input on iPad Pro 11 inch question

Can one use the included lightning bolt downstream cable from an Apple studio monitor to a USB-C input on my iPad Pro 11 inch 2020 model or does one have to use the USB-C connector from the monitor to the iPad Pro? Reason, I would like to test out my monitor, which I will get first before the studio ultra arrives. Thank you

You can use the Thunderbolt cable that comes with the monitor. The monitor only accepts input via the Thunderbolt port.
