I just purchased my powerbook 15.2'. I installed my new copies of Dreamweaver,Flash,Fireworks MX 2004 and everytime I open them the tables are laid out all over the place. I am use to have them all taking up the whole screen. Everytime I open anything in the studio I have to reposition the tables and drag them out. My resolution is 1280x854 can anyone help???

most likely a preferences thing; try moving them to your desktop (preferences are located here: user/Library/Preferences/Dreamweaver MX Preferences, Fireworks MX Preferences, etc.) and see if that helps. if so, go ahead and trash your old prefs.

or repair permissions; perhaps for some reason you're unable to overwrite the existing prefs.

this also happens to me every once in a while, but it's rare enough that i don't mind moving all of my panels back to where i left them.

edit: you did mean your tool panels & palettes, right?

Yes, whenever I open flash or (any other macromedia program for that matter) My tools, stage, color palete and so on are all over the place I have to position them and then maximize the program for to fill most of the screen. It only happens with macromedia programs and photoshop also.
