stumbled into the shure accessory for iphone

was in my local apple store tonight looking at the ipod classic. rumor in the store was jobs was in town and might do a surprise walkin. employees were tidying up store feverishly....

ran up on an employee stocking the ipod accessories and asked him if they had he shure piece just out of curiosity. i've asked 4-5 times before and never had it...

he said they got 1 in tonight and it was in the back, asked me if i wanted it...

um... YES.. have the shure e500pth and tried it out tonight... perfect...

shure beats the belkin piece and monster splitter i sunk $$ into..

a few of the employees in an Orange County, CA store mentioned that a lot of the apple bigwigs including Steve Jobs were in town for the night and they were expecting a surprise dropin to the store. I was there around 8pm and didn't see anything...

40 for the shure piece... pretty nice overall.. was in the fashion island store in newport beach, ca...

I've got this and use it with my B&O earphones. Mic is great! You can actually use it with any earphones or headphones.
Ordered thru Apple store.

yeah, i definately love this piece. I'm a HUGE shure fan and it just adds to their excellent product line.
