i am trying to make an intro with reflection - white theme "open."

the problem is on of the clips i am using in this theme is short - only 8 seconds edited. the original clip was 15 seconds. the problem is, even though i've edited the clip, it plays the entire original clip in the open theme. this is a really great clip bouquet toss, but the last 7 seconds are some garbage from another place. i don't know why imovie won't let me "REALLY ERASE" the last 7 seconds, or why it keeps resurrecting those 7 seconds when i put the clip in the intro. i even tried splitting the clip, but no matter what i do it seems the "original" keeps coming up in the theme. please help....

its the way the program was written/coded... it sucks

in order to get it done open up another iMovie project, title it watever take that 7 second clip that you want and drag it into the 2nd iMovie Project timeline, and export it as a full quality movie all on its own.. than import that movie into your original iMovie and place it in the open theme.. GL!
