Pretty simple question.

Any way to fix this? (More important now in the new iTunes with the album artwork stuff)

I've tried grouping as a compilation... no go.

Fill in the Album Artist tag.

Compilations really work if there is more than one artist on the album, but for "the greatest hits" of one particular artist, leave Compilation unchecked.

Yes, name the Albums like this:

Bruce Stringsteen: Greatest Hits
Eurythmics: Greatest Hits

Which is how iTunes lists it (well Burce Springsteen's is anyway)

There's no need for that, you can use correct album titles.

Simply click on the Album column header to see the available sorting options.

Firstly, that's freaking awesome!

Secondly, that didn't work!:(

Did you fill in album artist (not artist) ?

Ah... no.

I'm doing that now. Kind of a pain, but I don't trust an AppleScript to do this for me... too great of a chance for it to mess up. Oh well.

Thanks for that hint. BTW, iTunes support article helps too. I searched for "Album Artist" and I found one that talked about what Compilations were for, etc.
