Stupid Mail question

How do I edit an email that I've recieved? I imported all of my old email from Eudora to Mail.app, and along the way some HTML got screwy. I'd like to go through and clean up my old messages (hopefully with a script) but I can't seem to make any changes at all to them. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks for any help!

I don't think there's an easy way to do that. I've never been able to edit received emails, anyway.

Good idea... I tried it and while I was able to edit the email, the result didn't accomplish what I was hoping. I had hoped if I changed the HTML header that the HTML in the email would render correctly, but alas it did not. Well, if anyone ever comes across an applescript or an easy way to strip HTML from emails, please let me know.
