Well, not so stupid I hope.

I'm going on cruise later this summer and I want to be able to pick up my mail on my PowerBook once a day or so (the ship has wireless broadband, but it's metered and kind of expensive). I definitely don't want to be picking up all my spam of which I get over 100 a day, or all of the various mailing lists that I subscribe to, which are directed into Mail folders. I only want to read the e-mail that gets through the spam filter on my desktop Mac and lands in my In Box. I don't want to recreate any of this on the PowerBook.

I plan on having my desktop Mac start up on a schedule each day, pick up my mail, and redirect only the mail that normally gets put it into my In Box to my .Mac address and then shut down. This will be the mail I pick up on the cruise. What is the most effective way for me to do this?

Remember, my In Box mail is the mail that gets through my spam filters and sorting rules. It's what's left over after filtering, so it doesn't meet any obvious definition I can set up in my Rules preferences. Not that I can think of anyway.

Any suggestions?
