Ok, I ordered my MBP when the unibodies were released. I saved around $900. I paid $1699
I have a 2.5GHZ 15" with the 250GB 5400 rpm drive, 512 video card, 2 GB ram (have upgraded to 4 GB ram and 500GB HD). I wasn't able to add anything on to it.

I look in system profiler and it doesn't say anything about screen type. I looked on my box and also says nothing about the screen. I am just wondering. I know i sound like a tool asking, but i think it is matte, but not sure... Anyway i can find out?

All pre-unibody MBPs had matte as default and glossy as BTO so it's probably matte

Thanks a lot guys! I suspected i had a matte..

So the new ones, the matte is BTO?

I'm sure you meant the 2.53gHz, as the unibody 15" never came with a 2.5gHz processor. You can find specs on all Apple products with Mactracker.

Yes, only available on the high-resolution screen. $150 upgrade ($100 for high-res, $50 for anti-glare)
