So in selling my 4s. I had it unlocked from swiftunlocks. Got the confirmation today.

My question is, do I have to go through the steps in iTunes to finish/confirm the unlock? My sim is deactivated so I'm not sure if I can do it or not. Will the buyer just finish the unlock?

Thanks.

You can leave as is and instruct the buyer to restore in iTunes.

Tmobile sim

There's an easier way. Just pop in a tmobile SIM Card after you get confirmation email from the swiftunlocks website. That will complete unlock. Just follow prompts on phone after putting in tmobile SIM. If you don't know anyone that has one, go to tmobile store and ask to use theirs. All set!!

No, you do not need to restore in iTunes to confirm or complete the unlock.
