Usually when I go for work, I would leave my old laptop on my bedside table. Trying to be a bit more careful now with the Air, and I disconnect it and place it in a drawer.

Would it be OK to leave it connected to the power when inside the drawer? It's usually fully charged so no actual charging will take place, but it will prevent discharge at least. I don't think it heats too much when the green light is on at the mag connector right?

If its fully charged then why bother? Are you worried you may only have 98% battery the next day?

Dunno, but I thought that sleep still consumes battery? So just leaving it like this every day and night would 'consume' battery cycles? I guess I'm being stupidly paranoid?

Unbelievably paranoid.

If you aren't using it for several hours, why not just turn it off? Leaving it plugged in 24/7 is worse for it than running up a few battery cycles.
