Stupid Question... holiday bundle

hi, this is probably a very simple/stupid question, but i have a question about the MacUpdate Holiday Bundle (the one advertised on this website)

i got it for christmas, and got a bunch of sheets from e-mails, but i am confused over what exactly i am supposed to do.

there are instructions about "drive genius bootable dvd information" , but i dont even know how to get the 10 programs installed to my MacBook...

well now i installed some programs but for a couple (rapid weaver, default folder X) it makes me drag it into a folder that "cannot be modified"

also, i dont know what the serial name for WHatSize should be, MacUpdate only told me the serial code

so... how do i allow the programs to be installed and what do i use as the serial name
