Stupid question: how do I set up Apple Pay?

Where do I put the credit card info and where can I begin using it??? I bank with BBVA Compass if that makes a difference.

Its not out yet. Should be out next week with iOS 8.1.

When Apple Pay does roll out (presumably sometime next week), you just take a picture of a credit card within the PassBook app. Then you'll be able to use Apple Pay at participating retailers using NFC.

It will be awhile for you, it isn't live yet, and your bank hasn't announced they are supporting it (according to Apple's site)

Theories are that it's because people will do a lot of shopping on that day. But I'm also skeptical that the 18th is in stone. Most people are saying the 18th because that's when Walgreens will start accepting Apple Pay; doesn't necessarily mean it won't launch the day before, especially since Apple is also having their iPad event on the 16th.

All you need to do is enter the number, exp. date, security code onto the appropriate widget with your thumb print.

Not a silly question. I probably spent about 15 min looking for the settings to add my CC until I remembered that is isn't launched yet
