Stupid Question - UK O2 Pay Monthly question

This may well be a very stupid question but I can't find a answer.

I have a pay monthly o2 contract for my iPhone. The iPhone itself is purchased from Apple on the IUP.

If I get a new cellular Apple watch, does the airtime plan extend from my current contract or is there an additional airtime plan needed? Is there any sort of extra cost?
