Why is it that I have 250 megs of space, of which NONE is used, but when i go to put a movie in my Public folder it says I dont have enough free space? This is aggrivating me. I have synched it and synced it until I am tired of it. I cant get the space it needs. What am i doing wrong?

I just paid for my account last night and have been trying since then.

By default, of that 250MB, 125 megs are allocated to your idisk storage space and 125MB for your email storage. You might want to adjust how much space his alloted to those. (If not already done)

I personally set it to 220MB_idisk/30MB_Email

www.mac.com —> account —> (log in) —> Storage setting

By the way, if you get weird error messages after changing your iDisk storage settings:
Go to your .mac preferences, uncheck "create a local copy of your idisk", close panel, open preferences again, check "create a local copy..." again. It takes a while to copy everything back to your mac but the sizes display correctly and the error message is gone.
