My situation
1. First open my me.com account and started to buy apps from uk appstore.
2. left uk, move my account to Hongkong.
3. then move to US, again to Korea, then back to the US.

my itunes in my macbook always shows number saying how many updates avalable for my apps. Say, I got 5. but when I actually clock 'check for updates' itunes always shows less than 5 of apps that I can update (even sometimes none!)
I asked about this to apple like 5 to 10 times and always got the same stupid answer "try all other accounts you have" . Obviously that didn't help.
I know I can update the apps directly from my iphone or ipad without worrying appstore account or country. But you don't always want to update through mobile devices. (you gotta transfer them to itunes anyways !)

Today, after I update iTunes to 10.5. I finally got the answer.
with the new feature 'purchased' you can check all the apps you bought in the past. And there, I found that only shows apps you first bought in the country that you're currently using. (Sorry, I'm not english speak so.. can't explain with fine words;)

For example ( my case).
I first bought 'gangstar' when I was in the UK. But itunes 'purchased' doesn't show me my gangstar app because i bought it firstly in the UK. I downloaded the app again today in the US market, but still can't check at 'purchased'
These apps are the reason for update number that never get away in itunes.

Can anyone know how i can see my old app apart from changing country?
Cos UK store now only allows with UK credit card holders (I got only my old debit card). I had really cool app in the UK app store but it is not available in any appstore now...
