Just bought a new MB Pro with the 2 USB-C inputs. I need to convert at least one to a regular USB input. Just received what I though was the answer but it's not. I need whatever converts the USB-C port to a standard USB port. Reason, I need to add a couple of programs like Mac Office that I have on a DVD. My external DVD has a USB output cable. These adaptors are confusing.
After the mixup, I think I need a USB-C to a USB female adaptor. One like this. Is this correct? 10 bucks down the drain for the wrong connector.
