Stupid Yahoo! lol Battery Life Tip.

Long Story Short....they say turn on grey scale. Unless I am completely out of touch that is going to do nothing unless the screen was an OLED screen which it defiantly is now.

Is this the dumbest article i've read or am I missing something.

Well…grayscale reduces memory use. So, maybe they equate less memory use with less CPU load, thereby reducing battery draw. It's a stretch, but I can see it.

That may be, but I am willing to bet it may save you 1% over your full day of battery life.

I think, if you're at a point where 1% of battery life makes a difference you have bigger problems.

By that I mean either a bad battery or being in a situation where there is zero access to chargers, USB power or cables.
