Sturdy laptop stand with swing-out arm?

I have a MBP but no desk so I’m limited to working on the sofa, either with the laptop on my lap or resting on the edge of the sofa. This isn’t ideal, so I’ve been looking at all the over-the-bed laptop tables out there, like the ones they use in hospitals. I want something sturdy enough to be subjected to constant use, but with the flexibility to swing it out of the way when I’m not working on the laptop. All the stuff I’ve been seeing looks cheap and nasty.
