Stuttering issue with Apple TV and AirPlay

Apple TV 3rd generation - connected via WiFi

iPad Pro/iPhone 11/iPhone SE + YouTube app = everything works fine with streaming

iPad Pro/iPhone 11/iPhone SE + Chrome/Safari/Firefox = immediate and constant audio and video stuttering when streaming

MacBook Air + Chrome/Safari/Firefox = everything works fine with streaming

Any suggestions on why the problems with the 2nd scenario? All of those devices have been rebooted numerous times.
