Stuttering iTunes

my iTunes lightly stutters in the first few seconds of track segued into another - it doesn't do it if i pick a track. Its REALLY annoying because it happens randomly and was wondering if anyone else had the same problem? I've already updated to 8 and its still here.

RAM isn't a problem cos theres loads free..

Please, if anyone has two cents..
