Subler "Cannot be played"

I need help!

I converted a hi10p mkv to m4v with subler, I tried various different settings and each time iTunes tells me that "it cannot be played", so I can't add it to my iPad.

Can someone please help?

The original video needs to be H.264 and audio AAC. Try running it through handbrake.
