subscribing to a thread that I already posted

I am new to the forum. I made a post and I would like to subscribe to it to receive instant email notifications of replies. I went to the faqs and figured out how to subscribe automatically to any threads I make in the future but I am not clear how to subscribe to one that I already made.

At the top of the thread, there is a "Thread tools" button. In the menu there, click on "Subscribe to Thread".

Go back, "Thread Tools", "Subscribe to Thread"

Go to the top of the thread's page, and click on Thread Tools. There is an option that says Subscribe to this Thread there.
