So is the $199 considered a subsidy and a contract will be needed? Or, will it be like it is currently, and the price just dropped significantly with no changes to the activation structure? I have a current iphone and I'm not 'eligible' for an upgrade. I'd obviously like the new one for $199. I wonder if you need to be a new customer. Jobs didn't make that distinction, so I'm guessing its just $199 period?
