Anyone else notice the two options under the new v2.2 Audio & Video preferences... for Subtitle and Language support?
Does this mean, as I suspect, that Apple is developing a schema to use the multilayer nature of MPEG-4 to support subtitles and/or alternate language tracks which can be enabled or disabled by the user, rather than fixed as in the case of Handbrake rips?
This would be, in my opinion, a HUGE clincher for a lot of fencesitters who currently hesitate to jump onto the bandwagon of AppleTV.
