I had success, although a tight fit with leather journal-type Piel Frama case made for iPad 2. The iPad 3 slides in, but frame holder on all 4 sides is a little strained and protruding. But after a couple days, it's starting to conform and flatten out a bit.

Interested if others had similar experience, of if a perfect fit right away.

I bought an "Incase Magazine Jacket" for the ipad 2 to try on the 3.

I will fit in one side or the other. The 3 will not "snap" into the plastic back in all 4 points.

You can see the increased "thickness" on the 3 using this case.

Oh well, Best Buy had the incase at a reasonable price and I'll just take it back.

I bought the Belkin ipad 2 Snap Shield, frosted, to compliment the Smart cover. The semi flexible hard back didn't look like it was going to fit. But getting the last corners lip over the iPad made it fit. I don't plan to remove it ever, and looks snug enough to not let dirt in. I just hope it doesnt crack like a lot of reviews.
