A couple weeks ago my superdrive stopped burning/reading dvds, so I thought I would try to fix it myself. I picked up a lite-on dual layer dvd burner at walmart and put it in. Well needless to say its worked perfectly. I haven't tried to use iDVD or iTunes so I don't know if i'll need to use patchburn, but i've played a movie in DVD player.
