iPod touch Sucker for style but technically inept - itouch movies

Guys

I know this is probably one of the most basic q's of all but I need guidance as to how to buy or get movies on to my new itouch as quickly and easily as possible and was directed to this site as the font of all knowledge.

advice much appreciated by itouch novice
