Upstate NY . Was FL.
Today my wife's Apple watch series 4 lasted only 4 hours until the battery warning / saving notification was displayed. No new apps or settings have been changed. She normally used the watch daily without any battery issues. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks

It probably wasn’t fully charged. A one off event like this shouldn’t be cause for concern.

It could also be a stuck app. I had the audible app lock up on. Me when it was downloading and my battery went to zero in about six hours

I assume you tried rebooting the watch? My Series 4 does this about 1 in 10 times I run without my phone. It will be fine until I get back to the phone then will have abnormally high battery usage. A reboot always fixes it up.

Did she recently update to 6.1? I did and within 24 hours my watch was dying 3.5-4 hours from a full charge. I had to unpair and re-pair my S4, and my battery went back to normal.

I currently have same issue. I even went as far as erasing and not restoring from backup and repairing and it still didn’t fix it. Apple is sending me a replacement tomorrow as part of AppleCare as it looks to be a hardware issue although the timing of the 6.1 upgrade is very coincidental.

Well it seemed to have resolved itself . However, if she uses the sport tracker for a work out / or walk , it seems to drain about 8 to 10% per for each work out. She also has WiFi on all the time. Is it needed?

This was the usage screen shot picture I took. Battery was topped up in think , same-day of occurrence.
