I started to have touch screen issues on my iPhone 5s for last 2 days all of a sudden

The screen becomes either unresponsive or clicks randomly. Only way to do something is to try and press the power button (not full power off) and press home button again

But this too isn't working all the time,

I am even able to switch off the phone as the slider won't work. Even worse I can't even enter my password without pressing power and home button combo for 2 mins

I reflashed the OS (iOS 9.2) and restored from backup but still same result

I tried to follow the steps mentioned in Apple website but still same result

I don't want to take it to Apple store without trying all possible ways as I am sure I would be charged min. of 250-300 Euros (based on my experience with my MacBook)

Anyone has faced this kind of issues?
