My iPhone 5 battery was at 1100 mAh last week. It fell to 1000 mAh yesterday and when I woke up this morning, Battery Doc app said capacity was down to 700 mAh!

Falling ambient temperature might have something to do with it. Once I put the phone in my jacket pocket and it warmed up, the capacity went up to 800 and then 900 mAh.

Still, going down to 700 mAh so quickly was not encouraging. Is this battery on the way out? iPhone 5 bought May 2013, not covered by the Apple recall. 450 cycles.
