Hi guys,

my MBP temporarily goes into standby every 10 minutes. It doesn't do that all the time but it tends to get worse. I brought it in to an AASP who, after a week of waiting, said it was all fine. Trying to work with it at home then the same issue came up again. I'm getting tired of this since I'm not able to get any work done this way.

If you got any idea or maybe even had the same problem one time I'd be more than glad to hear about your suggestion. Thank you soooo much in advance!

I tried to record a short video of it. Although the quality sucks [filmed it with my cell phone, you better turn your speakers down ;)], it is probably good enough to illustrate what I'm talking about.

It seems like if I shut off the SMS (Sudden Motion Sensor) using the terminal, the problem about the sudden standby doesn't exist no more. Only the fans are still blowing at a speed of 6200 rpm.

Never mind. I take that back. The problem is still the same.
