Suddenly a lot of crashing

Earlier this morning everything was still working fine but now when I try to open my IRC client (Xchat azure) it crashes (not that big of a deal, it used to crash a lot) BUT mail app also crashes instantly, when I try to open the twitter app via spotlight the spotlight search crashes and all the icons reload...

Anyone else having this issue? I'll try a reboot now
