suddenly can't connect mac to phone...

i've been moving files (almost daily) with cyberduck on a mac (10.6.4) to my iphone. suddenly today, i can't get in: am getting a "Host is down" error.

i've rebooted my mac, AND my phone. turned SSH off, back on.
am def on my wireless network on both devices.

any ideas? feel like i'm missing something obvious, but...?

got it. for some reason (?) my ip address had changed on my phone (prob. from resetting my wireless network this morning)...

Network devices jockey their IP address all the time.
Nothing unusual.

My airport base station almost never changes the IPs on all my phones.
