All of a sudden I am unable to print any black text from Word, Pages, or NeoOffice. I can print the exact same documents if I change the text to any other color, but it won't print in Black. This is the case from the macBook Air, and two different iMacs. What makes this really odd is that the exact same issues is occurring on multiple printers, each of which has a full black cartridge and has worked perfectly before, so I know that the issue is not the printer. I'm guessing it has something to do with an update to the font collection, or maybe to Cups? It's also not OS X version specific, as it happens on Mavericks, Mountain Lion and Snow Leopard.

Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated as it's driving me crazy! I've tried re-installing the printer drives, reseting the printing system...I'm out of ideas.

Thanks!

Roger
