Hi all. I'm having a weird iTunes problem, and I'm looking for the help of someone who knows more about this stuff than I do.

I have a fairly extensive library of MP3s and AAC files, and I use iTunes v4.0.1 to burn CDs and manage my iPod. I've never had any problems with it, until tonight when I tried to burn a CD and was told "none of the items in this playlist can be burned to disc."

After that, I checked some of the individual songs that couldn't be burned and they were all listed as being in the 'low complexity' format. This is odd, because I always rip CDs into the AAC format at a high bitrate, etc. Furthermore, some of the files were songs that I'd ripped as recently as 3 days ago.

Does anybody know why this has happened, or how I could fix it? I'm estimating that I have about 8000 songs suddenly affected by this. Just a few weeks ago I was able to burn CDs with no problem.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
DD
