Suddenly, I have no reception anymore on my iPhone 4. I am on holiday on Cyprus. On the first day I had reception and I was able to send and receive text messages *

From the second day on, I can't connect *to a provider anymore. I have tried the following, with no success:
- soft reset
- taking out and reinstalling the SIM card
- manually selecting a provider. I can select a provider, but I get an error message "network no longer available"

I visited a different town and there I was able to select a provider (a different one from the ones I have in the area of my hotel). However, back at my hotel (or the town) I still can't select a provider.

Could this be a problem with my iPhone or SIM card? Have other people experienced similar problems?

I found that resetting the network settings solves the problem. I'm glad there's no problem with my iPhone or SIM card.
