Suddenly, Numbers is crashing when opening a template

Numbers 09 has started crashing when I try and open the "Event Planner" template. I've tried reinstalling and repairing permissions - any other ideas?

When it crashes, the report says "Numbers quit unexpectedly when using the SFWordProcessing Plugin".

I really need that Event Planner template asap - what can I do...??

Having the exact same issue here...

...on an iMac running snow leopard.

Exact same template.

I tried to create the document on a different Mac from the template - which worked fine, but then it won't open on the problem Mac...so it's not just the template that is the issue.

OK got it. The issue is with the HOEFLER TEXT font.

I changed all instances of that font to Arial and it now opens fine.

I know you can't open you template to do that so here is the template saved as a file with the alternate font:

If anyone knows how to resolve the issue of the HOEFLER TEXT font that would be much appreciated
