Several days ago, I noticed that a few websites I frequent will not allow me to log in to my accounts. My bank's website is one example; I can get to the homepage but after I enter my login information and click Submit the page loads for several minutes and then says the connection has timed out. This started happening right after we switched to Windstream internet service and started using their modem/router combo. I've talked to 2 reps from Windstream and they don't have a clue what's going on. This happens in both Safari and Firefox, but when a friend brought over his Windows laptop I could login successfully. It appears to be a Mac issue although strangely my husband was having the same trouble on his Android phone.
Has anyone experienced anything like this or have any suggestions to what I can do to fix this? Thanks!
