SudoCross is a mashup of Sudoku and Crosswords. Like Sudoku, each row and each column of the 9x9 grid must contain all of the numbers between 1 and 9 without repetition. Additionally, like a crossword puzzle, each row and each column must conform to their respective clues.
Clue definitions should be read left to right for the rows and top to bottom for the columns. Elements towards the beginning of the clue correspond to solutions near the beginning of a row/column. Elements towards the end of a clue correspond to solutions near the end of the row/column. One clue element could correspond to zero to many cells, depending on the clue.
There are 6 types of Clue Elements: digit, or, range, dot •, plus +, and star ⋆.

Each puzzle has one and only one solution. The Easy puzzles are relaxing and straight-forward. The Hard and Evil puzzles are truly difficult and require a firm understanding of the rules and careful examination of the clues.
