Hello, I have been using this http://www.amazon.co.uk/USB-7-port-...?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1268562382&sr=8-20 for the last year or so. Served my needs well. It came with a power adapter. The way my setup goes is an external HDD connected to one port of the MBP (that one that I always carry with me), then the other port is used for a hub when I am at my desk connected to the monitor. So that 7port had two external 3.5 (powered from mains) hard drives, apple keyboard with a usb mouse connected to it, midi keyboard, trigger finger, and other devices like usb flash drives were connected as needed temporary. So now when I connect my iPhone to the hub (I know it needs power as well), one of two things happen - the iPhone does not get connected, or the keyboard turns off cutting off the mouse connection. I know it's quite a bit connected, and I have tried using two ports with two hubs from the MBP, but it is just inconvenient for me. And that way it worked before, but it appears that the hub has died, trying different ports for different devices doesn't help.

Anyone can suggest a good hub, that would come with a power adapter? Of course the one that would be available to buy in UK. cheers :apple:
