I am looking out for a battery pack which i can use to conveniently charge my smartphone, my wife's iPhone 4, and my HP touchpad tablet.
Apart from this it should be able to charge MP3 players and basic cell phones that support USB based charging.
I am not interested in the dedicated iPhone cases but need something generic which can be used with multiple devices, phone and tablet alike.
My budget is 50$ and am looking for the best bang for the buck product.
Suggestions and recommendations appreciated.

I see that new trent consistently has very good reviews on amazon. But somewhere i had seen someone mentioning that many of those reviews are fake. I am not sure so i cannot claim this.
But personal opinions would be really appreciated.

If you live in Canada XSCargo has a little Duracell USB charger for $10. On ebay and Amazon they sell for $20 and up.

I use my NewTrent iDual for my iPhone, Blackberry, bluetooth headset, bluetooth headphones and pretty much anything else that needs to be charged via USB. Very happy with it

I used to have a Zagg Sparq until my son dropped his and bricked it. My wife has one still. It's also a solid device in my experience, although there have been a lot of negative feedback over it

One thing to note: the NewTrent can be charged via USB, so you can charge it either via computer or wall wart. The Zagg can only be charged though an outlet

I would definitely prefer something which can be charged via a USB connected through a computer or wall wart. This is definitely an added advantage.
Can you tell me what exact model of New Trent you have ?
An amazon link or something ?

I guess below is the thing what you are referring to...

Guess now i am confused between the New Trent iDual and the iCel 5200mah and both have almost similar cost (43$ and 45$).

I have searched amazon and have shortlisted the below...can anyone suggest which is the best of below in terms of being value for money. I know some may have relatively higher mAh rating than other, something which i am fine with.

I am getting inclined towards the IMP70D but would really want opinions from expert users here.

Ts while most people are trying to help . There are a few here that are only trying to spam. Just keep it in mind as you decide. I'm pretty much in the same goat including the touchpad. Typing on it now also if you haven't done the android mod I suggest trying it. Even though I still prefer the webos.

2amps makes it easier to charge tablets. The idual charges at 1 amp or 0.5 amps depending on the port. Having 2 ports is a must have for me personally
